CareMonitor meets the Australian Digital Health Agency’s Secure Messaging Industry Offer development requirements

Thanks to support from the Australian Digital Health Agency's Secure Messaging Industry Offer program, our users can now enjoy improved secure messaging capability.

The Australian Digital Health Agency has completed its evaluation and confirmed that CareMonitor has met the Secure Messaging Industry Offer development requirements, which seeks to improve interoperability between secure messaging services.

The new capabilities implemented are:

  • Enhanced searching across multiple secure messaging providers by using a federated provider directory service;

  • Interoperability and message exchange with different secure messaging enabled software products by utilising standardised messages;

  • The ability to securely exchange messages based on current and future Australian encryption standard.

We currently expect to release this update in February 2021.

Our release version will be V5.0
